This time, I will write an article about Around Yasaka Pagoda.

There are several places in Kyoto where location photography is permitted, including parks, temples, shrines, and Japanese gardens.
I'm sure there are some customers who are wondering, "Where on earth would I be most satisfied with taking pictures?"
This time, I would like to introduce Around Yasaka Pagoda area that I recommend.
-What is Yasaka Pagoda-
Yasaka Pagoda refers to Hokanji Temple in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto City.
Even if you search for "Yasaka Pagoda" on Google Maps, you will get a hit.
Access: 15 minutes walk from Gion Shijo Station on the Keihan Line.
I would like to introduce shooting in this area.
-Advantages of location shooting around Yasaka Pagoda-
1. Streetscape unique to Kyoto
The area around Yasaka Pagoda is a place filled with many wonderful elements such as the beautiful cityscape, stone pavements, and towers.
There are also rickshaws running around, giving it a typical Kyoto atmosphere.
Additionally, there are many souvenir shops and cafes, so the area is popular with tourists.
2. Capable of shooting in all seasons
There is no set recommended time to take photos around Yasaka Pagoda.
The reason for this is that there are few trees such as cherry blossoms and maple trees, so there is no strong sense of the seasons.
3. Many photo spots
As mentioned earlier, this is a district with many elements.
Therefore, there are many photo spots.
You can take photos at many locations such as Yasaka Koshin-do, Nene no Michi, and Yasaka Pagoda.

Now, regarding the wonderful Yasaka Pagoda area, I would like to inform you of some points that you should be aware of for those who are considering taking pictures.
1. There are many tourists
As it is a tourist destination, there are many tourists.
It's difficult to take pictures slowly and without attracting other people's attention.
2. Photography at Ninenzaka is only allowed in the early morning.
Due to local regulations, shooting at Ninenzaka with a photographer is limited to 8:00-10:00.
If you wish to take pictures at Ninenzaka, you will need to prepare your preparations quite early.
3. Photography at Yasaka Koshindo is allowed until 17:00
Yasaka Koshin-do Temple, located near Yasaka Pagoda, is a popular temple on SNS.
You can take pictures if you visit the main hall before taking pictures.
Please note that the gate closes at 17:00.
Also, it is expected to be crowded during the tourist season.
