1. Reservation

We will check the availability of the costume store and get back to you.

At some shooting locations, we ask that you pay the facility usage fee in advance.

2. Please come to the designated costume store on the reservation date.

3. Selecting furisode

The price is the same regardless of which kimono you choose, but we do not have silk furisode.

4. Dressing and hair setting

If the costume shop is Kyo Nadeshiko, hair styling is included in the price.

The shop also has a set salon, so you can have a stylish hairstyle.

Please do your own makeup.

If the costume shop is Kyo Sakura, a hair set is included in the price.

Make-up is optional.

If the costume shop is Tanan, hair and makeup are included in the price.

5. Location shooting

Once you're ready, it's off to the location shoot!

The cameraman will accompany you for about 120 minutes.

Please leave the pose to the photographer.

We will happily shoot natural smiles and smooth faces.

If you wish, we can also take a few pictures with your smartphone or mobile phone.

6. Data delivery

The delivery data will adjust the brightness and color of the face.

About 120 images will be delivered by downloading from the web in about 20 days from the shooting.

Plenty of options for shooting locations

Kansai Musubu Photo has many locations where you can take photos. Popular Gion Shirakawa is open for photography in the morning. If you wish to shoot at a location that is not listed, we will confirm that you have permission to shoot.

Possible to shoot with friends at the same time

It is also possible to take photos with friends or sisters at the same time. You can also have a plan where you rent a furisode and your friend brings their own furisode.

You can set a reserve date at the time of application.

The weather is unstable during the cherry blossom season. With the exception of some shooting locations, you can set a backup date in advance in case of rain. It is also recommended for customers who want to take photos while traveling to Kyoto.

We can accept your hair set requests.

If you have a desired hairstyle, please email us the image at least one week before the shoot and we will share it with the stylist.

There is no additional charge for not only individual shots but also family photos.

If your mother or parents are accompanying you, we will also take a family photo. There is no additional charge for family photos.

Stylish albums available

You can order an album as an option. We have Japanese-style albums and Nishijin-ori albums that are suitable for furisode photography.

We offer options such as dressing your mother in a visiting costume, hair styling, full make-up, and kimono rental.

Can be photographed in many locations

As standard, it is possible to shoot at two locations in the center of Kyoto city and the Higashiyama area. Shooting in 3 or more locations is also available as an option.
